Chicken

A woman running from a terrible relationship stumbles and finds herself eye to eye with a chicken. They share a moment, a cigarette, and the urge to burn everything down.

I wrote the score for strings, then played the recordings back through an old tube amp. The distortion carries both the toxic relationship and the fire that ends it.
